Eligibility Criteria
- • Recognized secondary school leaving certificate (equivalent to Abitur)
- • For Master's: Recognized Bachelor's degree
- • German language proficiency (for German-taught programs): TestDaF or DSH
- • English proficiency (for English-taught programs): IELTS 6.5+ or TOEFL 80+

Student Visa Requirements

Blocked Account
You must show proof of financial resources through a blocked account (Sperrkonto) with at least €11,208 for one year. This amount is released monthly during your stay.
Work & PR Opportunities
Part-Time Work
International students can work 120 full days or 240 half days per year. This helps cover living expenses while studying.
18-Month Job Seeker Visa
After graduation, you can extend your residence permit for 18 months to find employment. Once you find a job matching your qualifications, you can apply for a work permit and eventually permanent residency.
